'Night Lights' by Tatiana and Marina Moshkova narrates the story of two people on a night out but uses animation (in the form of lights) to show the people. The reason I have chosen this film is because I love the use of time lapse through out and the strong contrast of colours, for example the dark background suggesting night time against the bright neon 'light' outlines.
I also think the use of asynchronous sound ties the animation and real life images together well. Additionally, I feel that the range of shot distances used: for example the use of worm's eyes view and long distance in consecutive scenes creates a sense of pace and movement- which could be related to a night out. I feel that this film is aimed at teenagers because it captures the high energy of a date and/ or night out.
